Club News/Updates As of February 15, 2010 :

  • New: Next Meeting: March 15, 2010 At Kettle Lake Elementary - Cafeteria at 6:30 PM . We will have our annual club show clothes and tack sale. Bring your used or outgrown show clothes and tack to sell to other club members
  • New: New Record Books for 2010 with 3 new categories for different ages. Below are the descriptions and links to download the Word Document version::
    • Rider - ages 9 to 11
      For the youngest 4-H'er who is just gaining skills and has moved into a riding level of working with  their project animal.
    • Wrangler - ages 12-15
      For the 4-H'er who is increasingly capable of greater taskes and responsibilities with their project animal.
    • Equestrian - ages 16 to 19 years
      For the eldest 4-H member who has gained mastery over many facets of project animal handling, care and knowledge.

  • 3/6/2010: Allendale Tack Sale at Allendale Middle School
  • 3/15/2010: Club Meeting Kettle Lake Elementary - Cafeteria at 6:30 PM
  • 3/20/2010: Ionia County 4H Tack Sale at Saranac High School
  • 4/19/2010: Club Meeting Kettle Lake Elementary - Cafeteria at 6:30 PM - Project Declaration Form or Intention to Declare Project Horse per member due - Assumption of risk waiver per member due
